UPDATE 12/15/2012 - NEW DETAILS
Well, this kind of makes up for the price of this set. It seems that the addition of these pieces to your Mazginer will trigger new voice sounds! These include "Daring Scrander Cross!", "Iron Cutter" and "Southern Cross Knife!"
Okay, now that is pretty damn cool!

This set won't be cheap-- but it looks amazing! Even the Scander and Iron Cutter Fists have the interior mechanisms! The display stand looks great, too!
This is an absolute must-have companion piece for DX Mazinger!! (Which makes my wonder why the hell Bandai decided to make it a damned Tamashii exclusive!!)
Well, this is going to be frustrating news for a lot of people.
The amazing Scrander Set that we saw on display at the Tamashii Nations show last month for the upcoming Soul of Chogkin DX Mazginer Z will be-- brace yourself-- a Tamashii Web Exclusive.
AAAARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
If you're familiar with these kind of web exclusives, then you already know where you'll need to go to procure your set. There's some small hope that a few US stores may import these, but for the most part, you'll have to get yours from a Japanese retailer.
The cost of the set is Y8,190, which equates to about $100 USD. Add to that the probable $30 for EMS shipping from Japan and this is going to be an expensive and limited set.
Regardless, I'm getting this set for my already pre-ordered DX Mazinger, no matter what I have to do or what it costs.
Shown here are some new magazine scans that really show off the set and what you'll be getting with it. Unless you plan you display your Mazinger in the hanger, then you'll have to outfit him with his Scander and Iron Cutter fists!! (I plan on getting two Mazingers-- one for the hanger and one for the Scander Set. Yes, I love this figure!!!!)
This set will be released in Japan in May.
