Although I probably should, since this is the same company that brought us the Transformers Masterpiece styled Shockwave (or as they called it, Quakewave).
This looks just as good (even better??) as what Takara would have done with Dinobot Slag (aka "Scoria"). Just check out the figure in Dino-Mode next to Grimlock! (last pic) Ho-leeeeeeeeeeee......
I can not wait to get this figure. Sure, it's pricier than a Takara figure of this size, but the production run will also be much smaller, and judging from the Quakewave, I can tell you that the quality is right in line with Takara's.
If you're a TF fan-- especially a Masterpiece fan-- then I don't know how you could possibly pass on this figure. (Plus-- Swoop is also on his way from Fans Toys, too!)
He's set for a March release (although word is that it will be more like mid-April) for $199.99
